"This is social commentary on consumerism. It is a look at the every day senseless consumption that goes on, my self included. Why do we need more than we have? Odd. Acrylic on wood" Found Here
I find it very interesting that the last image, for "Have" is depicted as being some sort of serpent creature, it reminds me of the story am Adam & Eve, (whether you're a believer or not, save it and hear me out) in which it was the snake who persuaded her to take the forbidden fruit. Serpents don't have a very good reputation in the whole story telling saga for example the hypnotizing snake Kaa, from the Jungle Book, (who always hisses "trusssst me") they're always out to do what is best for themselves. Us mere mortals display these hedonistic qualities in our excessive consumption as modern day consumers; if it was meant just so, it's very, very clever in my opinion...
Another prime example of the use of snakes to convey temptation.
(After exploring this idea, anything marketed with the use of a snake would well and truly put me off the product, there must be some sly underhanded-ness going on where evil snakes are involved)
